The creepiest 1970s jeans campaign.

(click ads, from 1971, via Buzzfeed)
Speaking of lions, we now know for sure that Wrangler's awful Cannes Grand Prix Lion-winning We Are Animals campaign is completely unoriginal. Bonus: for your viewing pleasure, more very scary 1970s slack ads.

Yes , I know, I've had the ads bookmarked since then. Do you know how many posts Adfreak grabs from me? 10 times more than I snip from them. They're a half dozen writers, I'm one, with a full-time job. So why don't you go take a half a Klonopin (I recommend them) and chill the fuck out.

Chill out. I was just messing with ya. Do you take Klonopin yourself? They say side effects include: constipation; cough; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; headache; increased saliva production; lightheadedness; loss of coordination; nausea; runny nose; tiredness. Do you ever feel constipated?

Not regularly. No, headaches is the only side effect I've ever had.
